油飯  Taiwanese Sticky Rice (食譜作法)

There are few different ways to make Taiwanese Sticky Rice. Since I am from south of Taiwan (Tainan). This is how I make my Sticky rice.

長糯米 3杯 用電鍋將米煮熟備用 ( 3杯米+1.5杯米水)
豬肉絲 1/2 杯
蝦米1/2 杯 泡1/2杯水備用
香菇 5個泡一杯 水備用
紅蔥頭 1/2 杯
醬油 3 湯匙
紅糖 1 湯匙
麻油 2 湯匙

1.麻油加熱, 入紅蔥頭爆香,
3.撈出香菇 加入 炒一下 (泡香菇的水留著備用)
6.加入泡香菇 的水 煮沸
7.加入調味料 醬油 紅糖 煮沸
請注意喔! 糯米一定要熱熱的時後 就跟醬料拌在一起.
不然糯米涼了, 是會結塊的. (拌了醬料, 涼了也不會結塊.)

Taiwanese Sticky Rice
Long Grain Sweet Rice 3 C.
Pork 1/4 oz.
Dried mushrooms 5Pcs. soak in 1C water
Dried Shrimp 1/2 C soak in 1/2C water
Shallot 1/2 C.
Soy sauce 3 T.
Brown Sugar 1 T.
sesame oil 2 T.

1 Rince rice and cook with rice cooker.
(cook as regular rice but add only 1.5cap water.)
2 Heat up sesame Oil, fry chopped Shallot until soft
3.add Dried mushrooms without the water (Save the water for later)
4.Add dry shrimp with out the water(Save the water for later)
5.Add pork, stir fry it until is cooked
6.Add mushroom water and shrimp water (from Step3&4) until is boiled
7Add soysauce and brown sugar
8 Add Long Grain Sweet Rice and mixed together.
Please make sure the long grain sweet rice is hot when mixed together with step.7.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Here is the recipe,

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Place vegetable oil into a 1 cup measuring cup; add the egg and enough milk to fill the cup. Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in blueberries. Fill muffin cups right to the top, and sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.
To Make Crumb Topping: Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 cup butter, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix with fork, and sprinkle over muffins before baking.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until done.
